"Great place to get a men's haircut. My cut (buzz) is relatively simple yet there are nuances that let you know they know what they're doing. No matter which stylist you get, they'll do a pretty thorough job. Sports Clips uses technology to their advantage. They make notes on your account so that every time you walk in they know what style you usually get, quirks about your hair (I got a terrible cowlick) and any particular products you like. The girls there are all friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs. As they advertise, sports is on the TV all the time and most of the girls do follow sports to some extent so if nothing else you can small talk about what Sportcenter has looped ad nauseum that day. They rope you in with the MVP free your first time in. As long as you bring a coupon (which can be found in just about any local publication), the MVP package is not much more expensive than a normal cut and wash at another place, but at least you get a steamed towel on your face and a relaxing head massage while sitting in a reclining massage chair. The back massage isn't really worth it but whatever. Cost wise it's a little on the high end but if you can find a coupon it's a decent value or they're usually running some punch card type thing where you get more money off the more you go (up to 50% off). I recommend the place since they're good at men's haircuts, which I find is hard to find at the local salons."

"My wife purchased a gift coupon for me for Father's Day. She paid $22 for it. They put an expiration date on it. We were out of town. 2 days after the expiration date, I called them and asked them to honor the coupon. They said "NO". Very rude and not customer friendly in the least. Do not go there. Try Rhoden's in Westminster. $11 for a good haircut."

"The girls are always welcoming when you walk-in. Yeah, sometimes there is a wait, but they always have some sort of sports game on the tv, which minimizes any delays. Great atmosphere and Claire always cuts my hair. Very happy every time I leave!"

"Always a pleasure to go to Sports Clips in Hampstead. The staff is polite upon arrival, there’s always sports on the tv, it’s clean, and I use the same stylist every time I go. Claire knows what I get, and exactly how I like my hair. She’s very talented, not only in her work, but her customer service. Highly recommend this place and Claire!"
